Visited the very beautiful yet strange and extreme

Visited the very beautiful yet strange and extremely elitist Annenberg property of Sunnylands in Rancho Mirage. My initial intention was to use some of the objects, architecture, history, and landscapes as writing Invitations for Franchon @lalanative to evoke creativity. This home was known for hosting world leaders and dignitaries. A strange environment, I felt the extravagance unsettling. An art capsule of decadence, self-grandeur, disproportional wealth.

beyond, a ghost
of poem and melody

which left some
stars and scars of
mutual debris

i ponder, i miss, though I wish
amnesia was a migration—
monarchs, albatross, or the like

tie me down left larks
instead, echoes of words
in haste and love, spiraling

can memories collide, in
space—his scent, my fodder
brushing full, emptied before nightfall?

no way to know when I’m recalled
just lost stars of once-sung whispers
hollow in my veins

tie me down still crawls in dreams
for some forces are too blinding
even if cloud banks drift only thru night

if by chance my radar reached a sun,
sing, i’d say, as ghost, lark, monarch, or mercy,
i’d kneel before twilight,
to hear your blinding dreams

In less than 24 hours, a person’s life can completely begin an entire new path. It’s unbelievable each and every time to witness the profound growth and discoveries unfold before my eyes as I guide. From deep exploration, breakthroughs that completely shift internal landscapes, to documenting moon shine rise above the mountains, to a sunrise hike to a vortex to write, and have Conversations with passing cloudscapes. And I am supposed to “explain” what I “do?” 😂😂😂

Day 3 of Suzanne’s custom writing retreat. Part of my gift and work involves utilizing psychic intuition to identify potential portals for significant openings for each individual’s creative growth, clarity, and confidence. I follow where the opportunities carry us and today it led us to the butterfly garden.
